PM processing algorithms
A benefit of purchasing AQMesh is access to improved processing algorithms for gas monitoring. PM monitoring algorithms are in continual development through ongoing analysis of co-location datasets from around the world. Upgrading AQMesh pods to the latest algorithms will process data on the new algorithm version from the point the switch is made.

Benefits
- Filtering of electronic interference, improving accuracy and pod-to-pod consistency
- Filter to remove data points affected by moisture and particle deliquescence
- Factory characterisation, improving pre-scaled accuracy
Implications
- Pods will need to be returned to factory for a chargeable upgrade
- The filter for data points affected by moisture will result in some data points being removed and presented as a gap in the data
- Each timestamped reading carries the version number to ensure traceability
How to upgrade
- Return the pod to factory for it to be upgraded and characterised
- Users MUST give permission for this change to be made
An additional factory option is installation of a heated inlet, to condition the sample, which further improves accuracy. This option requires a direct DC power source and cannot be powered from solar.
